Cup of Joy: "To-Go"

Cup of Joy desires to share the "living water" of truth with women. We believe that this endeavor - "Cup of Joy 'To-Go'" - will allow us to plug women into Cup of Joy so they can learn about the heartbeat of our ministry. Hosting a Cup of Joy "To-Go" Party allows Cup of Joy to come to you! It allows you to invite your neighbors, friends, etc. out for an evening to fellowship with one another in a familiar and non-threatening environment.

Life is often compared to a race. How are you running your race? Are you running to win? How do you maintain a winner's mentality? If you feel like you are almost ready to drop out of the race, or are running and cannot see the finish line in sight, this is for you! Hebrews 12:1 says, “Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us.” Come join other runners who have learned how to run without getting tired or thirsty. We would love to be able to stand on the sidelines and cheer for you as you run the race that is set before you! Pouring Out: Cup of Joy Helping Others

 

As our lives are filled by amazing worship, fellowship, bible study, and teaching through Cup of Joy, we see the need for women to also “pour out” of their own abundance and serve others. Our Pouring Out volunteers take part in serving at various Cup of Joy functions but also in service to other ministries and organizations that need our help.  If you feel led to join us as we pour out please email volunteer@cupofjoy.org. 

Prayer Team
Prayer: Hope for Our Nation and Community

Prayer is an absolute priority at Cup of Joy. Our prayer team is made up of dozens of women who have committed to regularly pray for this ministry and those it touches. Our commitment to prayer is grounded in 1 Timothy 2:1-2 “I urge, then, first of all, that requests, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for everyone.”

They know that intercessory prayer is one of the greatest privileges we have as believers. It is our honor to pray for those in need. We take time monthly to meet as a team and pray for our nation, the church, Cup of Joy and the prayer needs that are presented to us.
