WHERE CAN I HIDE?
Psalm 139:7-12
Have you ever thought about what life would be like if you were always mindful that Christ was present? How would your days be different if you had a constant awareness that Christ was all-seeing and all-present?
Read Psalm 139:7-12 then read it again. David knew what it was like to hide from his enemies. He knew how it felt to be alone in a dark cave thinking that any minute he may breathe his last breath. What brought him comfort during those difficult times? His question to God is "where can I go that You, God, will not be there?". Then he answers his own question! "Nowhere can I go that God is not present".
Think for a moment. Is it a comfort knowing that nothing that you are going through escapes the knowledge of God? Our lives are not hidden from God! Look at verse 10. David says "God's hand will guide me and His right hand will hold me".
Do you need some guidance in your life? Do you need to be held? God is willing and eager to hold you! He is waiting to cover you with both hands. I don't know about you but I need to stop and soak in that our great God wants and desires to hold me! I pray that you will allow Him to guide and hold you today.
Trust Him, He is faithful!
